KMHT Radio, Sheriff Tom McCool Participate in 2014 MASH BASH Blood Drive

MASH BASH is a friendly, but important competition between three cities, over a two-day period on July 9 and July 10. The goal is to boost the community blood supply during summer when blood needs can become urgent if blood donors are in short supply.

Latino Folk Tales Exhibit at the Michelson Museum of Art through March 29, 2014

Screen Shot 2014-01-06 at 11.34.55 AMA collection of original folk illustrations from latino folk tales published in bilingual children’s picture books will be on display at the Michelson Museum of Art through March 29, 2014.

The collection is composed of artists whose inspiration comes from various areas including Mexico, Puerto Rico and Buenos Aires.

Curated by Sylvia Nissley and promoted by Smith Kramer Traveling Exhibitions, the exhibit will delight viewers with its vibrant and colorful cultural folk images.
